Founded in 2004 in Milan, Il Bussetto is renowned for its elegant and functional small leather goods that celebrate Italy’s rich artisanal heritage. Each product is meticulously crafted from premium bovine leather sourced from the finest farms in Europe. Originally colorless, the leather is hand-shaped and individually dyed using natural tannins derived from trees like chestnut and quebracho. This process, combined with natural pigments, glues, and waxes, creates distinctive shades and unique finishes, giving each piece its own character. Il Bussetto’s commitment to excellence is further demonstrated by the “VERA PELLE CONCIATA AL VEGETALE” certification, guaranteeing high-quality vegetable tanning.
To hide any scratches and restore the leather’s shine, apply a thin layer of Il Bussetto colourless moisturizing cream to the entire painted surface, then rub vigorously with a soft cloth.
