Mapoésie
Mapoésie, born from the artistic vision of French designer Elsa Poux, weaves graphic expression with poetic craftsmanship. A graduate of the National School of Decorative Arts in Paris, Elsa draws inspiration from ethnic traditions and the works of Russian artist Sonia Delaunay. Her designs, both abstract and contemporary, blend rich colours and intricate patterns that play and contrast with each other in a unique style. Each model, conceived in Paris, is screen-printed in India through a meticulous, traditional process, where colours emerge one by one, capturing the depth and vibrancy of Elsa Poux’s distinctive vision.
Inspired by the rhythm of the ocean, the NAZARE pareo undulates like a giant wave across a generous swath of lightweight cotton. In vibrant shades of rose pink, ochre, olive and violet, this statement piece is endlessly versatile: wear it as a pareo, wrap it as a scarf, drape it like a shawl, hang it on a wall, or lay it out on the sand.
