Diamonds are fascinating with their singular fires and inimitables shine. This synonymic stone of eternal love reveals all its beauty when it is rosecut, with few facets, such as victorian jewelry

About 5 OCTOBRE

5 OCTOBRE creates jewels, cautiously handmade in Paris, paying a particular attention to natural materials and gemstones traditionally hand cut by craftsmen. Inspired by contemporary art, nature, high energy cities, the wild blue... The spirit of the collections is a combination of refinement and raw material, assembling semi-precious stones and diamonds, all set on silver gilded with fine 24 carats gold.

The designer, Sophie Pfeffer, has an obsession : to create precious talismans or "grigris" that will bring wellbeing to its holder, making her feel beautiful and protected. Since she was a child, Sophie collects stones, vintage beads, antique jewelry and some primitive ornaments. In 2005, her first collection was immediately a great success with the public and fashion editors. Since then, she worked in collaboration with many creators and museums in Paris such as the musée Maillol, the musée des Arts décoratifs or the Galerie de l'Opéra.

5 OCTOBRE appreciates unfinished look and refined details, playing with the shades of gemstones or with different materials and associate silver and linen, cotton or lurex threads, vegetal ivory, leather, precious stones or feathers. Each jewel presents a unique character since the stones are always different. Small imperfections of the metal work are moving and give a real life character to the creations. This "philosophy" contributes to the personality and unique character of 5 OCTOBRE jewels.
