From 1500 BCE to the early 16th century, cultures such as the Muisca, Quimbaya, Sinú, Tairona, Calima, Zenú and Tolima crafted symbolic ornaments in tumbaga, a gold-copper alloy.
Their timeless legacy is reimagined today through contemporary pieces that echo the elegance of museum collections.
Striking double-headed serpent earrings inspired by ancient Tairona goldwork from the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta in Colombia. Their elaborate semicircular form combines delicate openwork with two opposing serpent heads, creating a remarkable balance between abstraction and animal representation.
